Free Fundraising Idea-
As new technology
arrives, most consumers shelve or garbage their outdated materials.
It's estimated that about 55 million cell phones will go out of
use in the coming year alone; this number will multiply. But!
The retired phones can become cell phone fund raising donations.
Millions
of people around the world have obsolete cell phones gathering
dust in the closet or drawers ( I know I do) that be donated for
your fund raising. Not only with this help you clean out our drawers
or closets but you will help the needy and save the environment.
This fundraiser has enormous and yet-to-be tapped potential that
can be organized and promoted without hassle, as well when you
make a fund raising donation, you'll also make money for your
group.
This is a
bonus as there is no need to buy anything and there is minimum
staffing required which can allow for any existing fundraising
activities to still go on. Recycling is environmentally friendly
and above all makes a world of a difference.
In addition
to the cell phone consider a combined fundraiser for printer cartridges.

National Child Day-
It's time
to start organizing for National Child Day on November 20th. This
is a day when people celebrate Canada's most precious resource
- our children. This is a day to remember that children need tender,
love, care and respect to grow to their full potential. National
Child day is a young celebration proclaimed by the Government
of Canada on March 19th 1993 to commensurate two historic events
for children; the adoption of the United Nations Declaration on
the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the UN adoption of the Convention
on the Rights of the Child in 1989. Wear a royal blue ribbon to
show support for National Child Day, Canada's future depends on
the healthy development of our children. For more information
and ideas to celebrate, click HERE.
