We are pleased to introduce Surface Play Durable Carpet to the RecTec product line. Surface Play is a revolutionary new surfacing that is made of 100% Polypropylene with a fine sand infill. Durable Carpets resemble wall-to-wall carpets - however specifically designed for extreme weather conditions, high-traffic areas, and offer maximum impact absorption. Available in a 4', 6', 8' or 10' fall height rating also used where no fall height is needed.

Durable Carpets are a cost-effective surface solution that requires low maintenance and endures extreme climates with UV protection. Durable Carpets are resistant to acts of vandalism and resist fire.

Surface Play Durable carpets can also be installed directly over your old faded rubber tiles or cracked pour in place rubber. It provides a durable, UV resistant and fun update to your tired playground.

- Dr. Thomas Swift Elementary: Grand Opening! -

Last week marked the opening of the new accessible playground at Dr. Thomas Swift Elementary. The playground is inclusive to children in walkers and wheelchairs without limiting any of the fun. Instead of boring and isolating ground level tic-tac toe panels (the norm on many so-called 'accessible' playgrounds) the design features a ramp bringing children right into the fun!
