Walk
to School Week.
The
first week in October (2nd to 6th) marks International
Walk to School Week. Over 37 countries participate in this
event worldwide. Children, parents, school staff and community
leaders take part by walking or cycling to school this week. Many
schools host programs including learning safe routes and safe
pedestrian/cycling skills
